Dörtyol State Hospital will be opened at the beginning of 2022

The new state hospital in Dörtyol district of Hatay will be opened at the beginning of 2022.  The hospital will meet the increasing need for health services in the region with the increasing population and movement of migration. The hospital was also built as an earthquake resistant structure. The hospital, which stands out with its woman-friendly feature, offers services such as a mother hotel, special delivery and care rooms, training for pregnant women and mothers, and children's playgrounds.

The new state hospital in the Dörtyol district of Hatay, financed by the European Union and built under the management of the French Development Agency and the General Directorate of Health Investments of the Ministry of Health, will be opened at the beginning of 2022.

Ambassador Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut, Head of the European Union Delegation to Turkey, stated that they are about to complete a 250-bed modern hospital in Dörtyol, which will serve 6 thousand patients a day, and said that they will provide a wide range of health-related services to both local people and people fleeing humanitarian crises.
